Company website infrastructure

The company website uses a React frontend, a Node.js API and a PostgreSQL database, deployed with Docker Compose on Ubuntu. It supports administrative login and contact form storage. This infrastructure does not demonstrate an operational AI assistant for the shop.

Planned shop assistant architecture

1. A visitor submits a question through the shop interface.
2. The backend selects relevant information from the approved product catalog and shop policies.
3. The backend calls the first-party Claude API; API credentials remain on the server.
4. The assistant answers using the supplied sources and directs unresolved questions to a human contact.

This is the intended design. The API connection, retrieval workflow and assistant interface have not yet been implemented.

Checks planned before release

Test factual answers against catalog and policy sources, unsupported questions, human handoff, access controls, request limits and handling of personal information. Usage costs and response quality must be evaluated before public release.
